06 Sep 2001 :: Today in the evening at 8:55pm GMT+2 I'm leaving for Romania. The train will take me there on the 8th September. It takes about 36 hours to get there. It's a damn too long way. I wish I went by plane. Beside of this, everything else is gonna be ok... [ more.. ]

20 Jun 2001 :: Tomorrow I gonna have what my American friend calls bacalaureate. Here, when you have your thesis done you stand in front of the goverment comission and tell about it. After you're asked questions about the subject of the research. Depending on how good your answers are they rate your work. Well... [ more.. ]

And one more things about holidays, celebrations and having a good time. On the 1st December there was Ziua nationala a Romaniei. It's translated as "the national day of Romania". Maybe, I was looking not very attentively, but during a morning trip through the center of the city I couldn't notice any major celebrations. The only amusement was a loudspeaker standing on one of the main squares of Iasi. There were some melodies coming out from it. And TV was showing a parade in Bucharest that day.
