24 Nov 2003 :: Here is a life example. When I moved to Bucharest, shortly after starting my new job here and finding an appartment, I felt a need in an internet connection for my new home. I remembered that one of people I knew due to centericq worked at a major ISP in Bucharest... [ more.. ]

11 Jul 2003 :: Not so long ago the English version of the summer nights text was commented in Romanian by someone Gheorghe. After a closer look (by IP address) he turned out to be a vigorous Finnish lady from Bucharest with whom I had a pleasure to have a discussion by e-mail once... [ more.. ]

[ 30th Jul 2002 ] Canada revealed | leave a comment

Finally received the first e-mail from my great buddy Michael, who left to Canada several weeks ago. Here I told how we celebrated his leaving in Chisinau, and now we have an opportunity to read his first impressions of the city of Toronto. Before he left we had fixed that as soon as he arrives he would send me a detailed description of what he would see there, and I was to publish it on the web site. It's rather big, so it's only available in Russian here. The task was overcompleted by 200%, for several photos were attached to the first mail of his. BTW, on one of them there was a shot with a concrete mixer. The fans of the Kuvalda band would definitely appreciate that (one of the songs of their's is called "the concrete mixer" - "betonomeshalka" in Russian).
